Welcome Back, Tides!
We are excited to have you all on campus for our first day of school on September 5th! Whether Gig Harbor High School has been your home for years or you are new to its hallways, we can't wait to see you!
Our theme this year is STRONGER TOGETHER. At Gig Harbor High School, we believe that every student, every staff member, every family member, and every community member are critical to the success of our school. We believe that each person plays an integral part in creating a school culture that is inclusive, caring and supportive And we truly believe that we are stronger together.

Over these next several weeks before school starts, I would ask that we all consider how we might contribute to these values.
- How will we make choices each day to create a space where these values are lived out?
- How will we demonstrate integrity in the classroom and the hallways?
- How will we treat others with kindness, regardless of who they are or what friend group they are in?
- How will we be responsible, owning our decisions and taking care of the spaces we are in?
- How will we be engaged at school, in the classroom, and in our community?
When we consider these questions, and make choices that reflect these values, only then will we truly be TIDES.
We look forward to an amazing year together. There is a lot of information you can find on this page and through upcoming Parent Square messages that will help you prepare for the new year.
