Good morning Gig Harbor High School. Today is Tuesday, May 12 and here are your daily announcements:

The Future Readiness Center is taking students on a field trip for students interested in a career in construction after graduation. This is a really great opportunity to learn about a variety of different jobs in the construction field, and you even get the chance to operate machinery! The trip is on May 15. Forms are in the FRC and due back tomorrow.
In the library tomorrow, the FRC is hosting a hiring fair. Bring your resume and speak with local employers. There are opportunities for work and volunteering at places like YMCA, a carpenter's union, Dairy Queen, PSD, military branches, and more. There will also be a list of businesses that are hiring, but are not able to make it to the event. Sessions are from 9-11, and 12-2. If you have questions, reach out to Ms. Hays or Ms. Jackson.
Hey Tides! Do you want to be a vital part of the Tides Football program? Now is your chance! Tides Football needs several responsible students to step into the role of Football Managers. This role can also count as service hours and clinical experience for college programs, and it looks great on applications and resumes for college or jobs. Submit your application no later than Wednesday, May 27th. To learn more and pick up an application, please see our Athletic Trainer, Megan Smart in the athletic training room.

The boys soccer district Tournament has begun. Our boys will be playing against Timberline at 5pm at Mount Tahoma. Good luck!
