Dear Peninsula and Gig Harbor high school families,

As we approach today's exciting "Fish Basket" basketball game between our Peninsula Seahawks and Gig Harbor Tides, we want to share an important message about sportsmanship and school pride.

This long standing rivalry game is a wonderful tradition that brings our community together and showcases the talent and dedication of our student-athletes. To ensure everyone can enjoy this special event, we ask all players, students, and spectators to demonstrate the highest levels of sportsmanship and respect.

We expect all attendees to:

• Cheer positively for their team without directing negative comments toward opponents, officials, or other fans

• Follow all school and athletic venue rules

• Represent our schools and community with dignity

• Keep all chants and signs appropriate and encouraging

• Stay in designated spectator areas throughout the game

Remember, how we conduct ourselves at these events reflects not just our individual schools, but our entire PSD community. Let's make this a memorable night with great basketball, school spirit, and friendly competition.
