Saturday at GHHSOur Transportation Department will be hosting a regional “Bus Road-eo” in the GHHS parking lot. The entire parking lot will be utilized for this event. Please have all cars out of the GHHS parking lots Friday evening as they will be setting up for the event. If you have a need to be on the GHHS campus on Friday night, 5/13, or Saturday, 5/14, please park at Discovery Elementary.
The Gig Harbor Track and Field Team had a great first day at the Narrows League Championships in Shelton yesterday. The boys team was led by Mark Kimball’s double victory in the 100 meters and 400 meters and the boys 400 meter relays of Dylan Lindmark, Marc Fletcher, Marcel Alexander, and Harry Horwath won their race by over a second. The girls team was led with victories by Hannah Carroll in the 400 meters, Hadassah Ward in the discus, Natalie Davidson in the pole vault, and the 400 meter relay of Troi Carter, Hannah Carroll, Tatum Tot Griffin, and Emma King. The meet concludes Saturday at Shelton. Go Tides!
Girls Water Polo Last night, the Girls Water Polo team defeated Curtis 7-5. The win over the Vikings pushes the Tides season record to 18-1. Jenna Anderson led all scorers with two goals. Goalie Olivia Lott had 18 saves. Great job ladies!
